The Evolution of OCR
Having previously worked with Deutsche Bank, Citco and Tisbury Capital, Peter's career transitioned into the world of recruitment in 2005. This hands-on investment banking and hedge fund trade management experience enabled him to bring a different approach to talent resourcing.
O'Connell Resourcing launched in 2009 and was a follow on from the first business Peter established, CuttingHedge Recruitment. Both firms offered contingency recruitment solutions to the investment management industry in London. Subsequently, Peter co-founded OCR Alpha in 2016 which operated alongside O'Connell Resourcing until 2022. Since taking some time out to pursue other interests, primarily within the start up business space, O'Connell Resourcing today offers a selection of niche solutions which are a great match for Peter's expertise.
